Written by SamI’ve talked a lot on this site about how to manage your expenses and control your spending. While managing expenses is an important part of personal finances, it’s only one half of the equation. Equally important is how much money you make-your income.
Many people dream of making a lot more money than they currently do and being able to quit their day job. But it’s hard to know how to get started. Fortunately there’s a new site that will tell you exactly what to do to start earning extra income online, and the great news is it costs absolutely nothing. It’s called the Thirty Day Challenge
The thirty day challenge is a website that will be posting daily step-by-step information about how to make $10 in 30 days on the internet. The official challenge started on August 1st and goes through the end of August. The instructions are easy to understand and even beginners can follow along. Apparently this is the third year they’ve done the challenge but this is the first time I’ve heard about it.
It may seem like making $10 is no big deal. That’s hardly anything. But if you think about it, it’s the perfect approach. When I started this blog one of my goals was to make some supplemental income. I used a philosophy taken from Steve Pavlina’s blog – I knew if I could make $1 on this site, I could make $100. If I could make $100 I could make $1,000. The first few dollars are the hardest – after that you have momentum to build on. It gets subsequently easier to make more money.

Yeah, I signed up for it, too. I’m looking forward to going slow and learning the ropes.
But after the first two days, I caught myself saying, “give me the next info, quick!” I’m sure as the days go on I will want it be SLOWER.

If you haven’t received the email yet you may want to sign up again. You should get a confirmation pretty quickly. I’ve already received a couple of email updates. It doesn’t look like they’ve dug to deep yet, but the tools they’ve addressed so far are great to know about whether you have an internet business or not.

Thanks for mentioning the 30 day challenge on your blog — I read about it here around August 8th, so I started behind the pack, but I enjoyed going through the lessons. I would never have heard about the 30DC unless you’d mentioned it.
Funny thing: the lessons work. I used them to create two separate websites (for free!) and both have been delivering a small stream of income.
Anyway, thanks for your blog and also for posts like this one.

i am pretty new to this Make money online stuff. i started making money online by monetizing my blogs and websites using Adsense, Adbrite and Kontera. i have yet to try affiliate marketing.

i Make Money Online by using Adsense and Adbrite on my blogs and websites. i am earning a decent amount of money online but it also requires a lot of work to build traffic,

Making money on the Internet can be a slow proccess and takes time and effort. But once you get going it has a snowball effect and keeps getting bigger and bigger with dedication.
