Get Rich Slowly
Get Rich Slowly is THE premier personal finance blog where J.D. Roth writes daily with articles and advice on your personal finances. In particular, check out his personal finance book reviews.
Here’s a message from J.D. Roth of Get Rich Slowly about his sponsored prizes.
“I owe my financial success to the public library. I was deep in debt and living paycheck-to-paycheck before I stumbled on my library’s personal finance section. After reading about a dozen books, I realized they all seemed to share a similar philosophy, a message that it is possible for the average person to get rich — slowly. Now I’m happy to evangelize about the best of these books, books like Your Money or Your Life, The Millionaire Next Door, and The Four Pillars of Investing. Maybe others can read them and achieve the things that I have.”
YNAB – You Need A Budget
You Need A Budget (YNAB) is an effective personal budgeting software. YNAB has everything you need in a budget software, without all the distracting noise that will keep you from achieving your objective. YNAB is more than an expense tracker; it is designed to enable you to follow a proven methodology of cash flow management.
If you want to purchase his software you can get a 15% discount during the giveaway by entering the code “GFD.”
Pear Budget
PearBudget is a really simple budgeting and expense tracking tool. Whether you’re a cash-only, ‘envelope method’, Dave Ramsey-ite or a (credit)card-carrying member of shopaholics anonymous, PearBudget can help you make a plan for your spending, see what you have available right now, and keep track of how you’ve done for the month. It’s all online, so you can access it from anywhere you have an internet connection, and it’s elegantly designed, so even if your eyes glaze over when you look at a screen full of numbers, you’ll know right where you stand with your finances.
