How do I get started on this debt-free or even reduced debt road? We’re drowning and are starting the process of taking everything into bankruptcy. Is there another way out? We’ve tried debt settlement a couple of times but it just isn’t working out for us. We can’t get financing to get cheaper cars because we owe so much on the ones we have. Would it be wise to purchase a first-time home at ages 58 and 56 with an approximate down of $45,000?

I have a problem with the Texas child support. I have paid all the child support required of me to the state of Hawaii .I have the paper from Hawaii stating that I do not owe the state of Hawaii any money and the custodial parent any money or arrears.Tx is trying to make me pay the money again even though I sent them a copy of the letter from Hawaii that I didn’t owe anything any more.Please help they want me to pay 24,000 again….
